In the meeting, Trajkov and Bóka highlighted the vital support extended by Hungary to our country, especially with regards to the European agenda, the Ministry for European Affairs said.

The Macedonian government, Minister Bóka said, by implementing the necessary reforms has been demonstrating strong will for European integration and Hungary is prepared to share its expertise and experience to assist in the process.

Support from EU members, such as Hungary, she said, is of key importance to accelerate accession process and for concrete results to be recorded. Trajkov added that cooperation with Hungary is of great benefit in implementing European standards.

In addition to discussing the EU integration process, the two interlocutors also discussed ways to increase economic cooperation between their countries.
