Minister Murtezani holds bilateral meeting with Kosovo Deputy PM Bislimi

Skopje, 18 November 2024 (MIA) - Minister of European Affairs Orhan Murtezani met Monday with the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo for European Integration, Development and Dialogue, within the frameworks of the joint government session held in Pristina.
According to the Ministry of European Affairs, the meeting discussed promoting cooperation in the process of reforms and convergence with the European Union, stressing the importance of mutual assistance and exchange of experiences in the implementation of reforms and alignment with European standards.
“Minister Murtezani highlighted North Macedonia’s commitment to the continuation of constructive dialogue with Kosovo as an important contribution to regional stability and joint development. In that context, the role of IPA III Cross-border Cooperation Programme (2021-2027) which represents an example of effective cooperation aimed at protecting the environment, economic development and strengthening local communities,” the Ministry said.
The two ministers also touched upon mutual coordination in the implementation of the reform agendas and voiced optimism over further strengthening of bilateral relations, with an emphasis on mutual commitment to European integrations and realization of the vision for a stable, prosperous and European Western Balkans, the Ministry said.
