Skopje, 22 December 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski attended a ceremony marking the beginning of construction of a shopping mall in Gevgelija as part of an investment worth EUR 20 million, which, according to the PM, would create 350 new jobs.
“The investor's plan is very ambitious but not unfeasible since this project has reached its current stage in record time for us to be able to lay the cornerstone for this investment worth around EUR 20 million. Based on our conversations, it will create around 350 new jobs at the beginning,” Mickoski said.
Mickoski highlighted that around 15 million vehicles will pass through the area, which, he said, means greater opportunities for businesses and for the expansion of the investment.
“This will mean a lot for Gevgelija, so as a Prime Minister, I believe that whenever such buildings are made, we are here to help, to accelerate the process, to unblock it if it is frozen so that these investments can become a reality,” Mickoski said.
