Skopje, 21 April 2026 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski is leading a Government delegation for an official political and economic visit to the Republic of Austria.

PM Mickoski is set to meet with Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker to discuss the enhancement of bilateral cooperation and current developments in the region and Europe, the Government said in a press release.

Mickoski and Stocker will also address a business forum including representatives of the countries' business associations, reaffirming the excellent economic cooperation and promoting opportunities for new investments, as well as deepening cooperation between Austria and Macedonian companies.

The Government delegation includes Deputy PM and Transport Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski, Minister of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources Sanja Bozhinovska, and Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Muamet Hoxha.
