Skopje, 7 November 2024 (MIA) – There’s no agreement or announcement involving a meeting of PM Hristijan Mickoski and Bulgarian President Rumen Radev at the European Political Community (ERC) summit taking place today in Budapest, government spokeswoman Marija Miteva said Thursday.
“We stick to our position, as previously stated by PM Mickoski, that he is prepared for talks with anyone, anytime in order to ultimately reach the goal,” Miteva told a news conference.
The government press office will inform the public about developments at the summit and possible meetings, she added.
The European Political Community summit, hosted by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, brings together 47 heads of state or government from Europe as well as an EU delegation, including European Council President Charles Michel, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Policy, Josep Borrell.
On the eve of the Summit, it was reported that reportedly Orban on the sidelines will organize a meeting of Mickoski with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev. The Macedonian premier, however, stated that no such meeting has been agreed, insisting that he is indeed prepared for talks.
