Ohrid, 27 September 2024 (MIA) – Deputy Prime Minister in charge of political system, Ljupcho Dimovski met Friday in Ohrid with Hungary’s Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén as part of the joint government session between North Macedonia and Hungary.

Discussing several topical issues, the government said, they concluded that the two countries have been sharing the same traditional values in many spheres, most notably regarding EU enlargement, economy and freedom of religion and the right to freedom of belief. 

It was noted that implementation of strategic projects will contribute to the strengthening of the country’s and the EU’s sovereignty, especially involving the integration of the region as a whole.

Hungary is a strong supporter of our accelerated and complete European integration, said the press release.
