Seven ambassadors recalled by decree of President Siljanovska Davkova

Skopje, 12 November 2024 (MIA) - Seven ambassadors have been recalled from their posts by decree of President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, which were published on Monday in the Official Gazette.
Under the decision, North Macedonia's Ambassador Dane Taleski has been recalled from NATO, Ambassador Dancho Markovski has been recalled from Albania, Ambassador Faton Bejta has been recalled from Denmark, Ambassador Sali Limani has been recalled from Kazakhstan, and Ambassador Shaban Jashari has been recalled from Qatar.
The Permanent Representative of North Macedonia to the United Nations Office at Geneva, Teuta Agai-Demjaha, as well as Ambassador to the Holly See, Vatican, Marija Efremova, have also been recalled from their posts.
According to the decrees, Taleski's term within the Permanent Delegation of the Republic of North Macedonia to NATO, based in Brussels, ends on January 14, 2025, whereas the term of the other ambassadors ends on November 30, 2024.
The decrees enter into force upon their publication in the Official Gazette, and will be executed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.
