PM Mickoski to head delegation to third international wine, food, brandy and tourism fair ‘Wine Vision by Open Balkan’ in Belgrade

Skopje, 22 November 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski will pay a two-day visit to Belgrade on Friday and Saturday, heading the Macedonian delegation to the third international fair for wine, food, brandy and tourism "Wine Vision by Open Balkan" in Belgrade.

On Friday afternoon, Mickoski will hold meetings with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Prime Minister Miloš Vučević.

The Macedonian delegation will consist of Deputy Prime Minister in charge of political system Ljupcho Dimovski; Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Inter-Community Relations Ivan Stoilkovikj, Government’s Secretary General Igor Janushev; Minister of Culture and Tourism Zoran Ljutkov; Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Cvetan Tripunovski; Minister of Public Administration Goran Minchev; and the Mayor of Kumanovo, Maksim Dimitrievski.

Mickoski is expected to address the opening of the fair and the Macedonian evening as part of the event.

The third international fair for wine, food, brandy and tourism "Wine Vision by Open Balkan" held in Belgrade on November 22-24 will present 650 exhibitors from 38 countries. 

Eighty wineries and distilleries, six exhibitors of food and restaurants and 3 chefs from North Macedonia will participate in this year’s fair.

Leaders of the culinary and food industry will also participate in the fair in Belgrade, including Alan Coxon, British chef and ambassador of British cuisine, Dragan Unić, master chef and sommelier, Daniel Ayton, Gianluca Tomasi, famous Italian chef, as well as Daniel Schade, director of the Culinary Olympics.

The three Open Balkan countries, Albania, North Macedonia, and Serbia, will present their cultural heritage and tourism at a joint stand at the fair.
