Skopje, 8 November 2024 (MIA) – “From Family to Institutional Heritage”, an exhibition of the Museum of Macedonian Struggle for Independence will be displayed at the Culture and Information Center in Istanbul November 8 through November 14.  

The exposition includes 15 panels with texts and photographs of items donated by the Shaban family covering a period of 200 years. With their uniqueness, they capture moments conveying emotions while presenting tradition and culture also allowing deeper understanding of rituals, customs and artistic expressions that define our cultural identities.

The exhibition is curated by ethnologist Elizabeta Markovska, who collaborated with Vasilija Chali, Ana Kitanovikj, Marija Korobar and Gabriela Boshkova Postolova.
