Skopje, 29 March 2025 (MIA) – I don’t know what we would do at a leaders’ meeting since the authorities are doing their job flawlessly, it would be only a waste of time, Alliance for Albanians (AA) leader and Health Minister Arben Taravari said after SDSM leader Venko Filipche proposed that party leaders should meet. 

“We’re interested in solving the issues the institutions have. We work non-stop and it would be only a waste of time. We believe now is not the time and I don’t know what we would do at a leaders’ meeting since the authorities are working flawlessly both to help the patients heal and to find the perpetrators in this case,” Taravari said responding to a reporter’s question at a daily news conference informing about the people hospitalized following the deadly fire in a Kochani nightclub earlier this month. 

Commenting on the opposition leader’s proposal for a leader’s meeting, Worth It coalition yesterday said Filipche doesn’t have the credibility to call for a meeting. 

Earlier this week, Filipche said he will invite the leaders of the largest political parties in the country to a meeting next week in Parliament.
