Skopje, 26 August 2024 (MIA) — Out of the 20 wildfires reported on Sunday, 15 have been put out, three have been brought under control, and two are still burning, according to the Crisis Management Center. 

The wildfire in the Municipality of Chashka at Koteva Krusha near the village of Omorani is still active, after a forest fire spread from Mukos mountain.

A forest fire is also burning in the Municipality of Makedonski Brod, near the rural water supply tank in Greshnica.

Firefighters have brought under control the wildfires on Plaken mountain above the village of Virovo near Demir Hisar; between the villages of Cer and Starec near Kichevo, and on Galichica mountail near Zli Dol, Stenje and Leskoec. mr/
