Skopje, 15 January 2026 (MIA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski expects better economic results for the country through increased exports of goods and services and the attraction of new investors, based on the cooperation he announced mobilizing diplomatic and consular missions and chambers of commerce.
Mucunski visited the Macedonian Chamber of Information and Communication Technology (MASIT) on Thursday, presenting to its management a set of activities and measures that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade will undertake to boost exports, especially in services and attract new investors to strengthen the country’s economic results.
“We have a four-point concept, which involves mobilizing our companies, mobilizing country’s domestic resources as well as a new model for mobilizing our diplomatic and consular missions. In the coming period, we will continue to implement these measures in practice, together with the chambers of commerce and Macedonian companies and of course we hope for better economic results that will bring greater values to the national economy,” Mucunski said.
According to MASIT President Jordan Dimitrovski, the chamber supports the initiatives announced by the Minister Mucunski.
“The goals of MASIT as the ICT industry chamber are clear: to help more domestic companies reach international markets, increase contracts that enhance product added value and boost the export growth of Macedonian companies,” Dimitrovski stated.
Minister Mucunski’s visit to MASIT is part of a week-long series of meetings with the leadership of chambers of commerce and affiliated organizations. Earlier, his team visited the organization Macedonia 2025.
