Skopje, 9 May 2024 (MIA) – According to the preliminary results from Wednesday’s parliamentary elections announced by the State Election Commission on its website Thursday morning, with over 99.27% of the votes processed, VMRO-DPMNE’s coalition "Your Macedonia" has won 431,251 votes (43.23%) or 58 seats in the new 120-member Parliament.

SDSM’s “Coalition for European Future” obtained 153,250 votes (15.36%) - securing 18 seats, DUI’s European Front gained 137,486 votes (13.78%) - 19 seats, “Worth It” coalition garnered 106,991 votes (10.72%) - 13 seats, Levica has 67,338 votes (6.75%) - 6 seats, and ZNAM Movement won 55,539 votes (5.57%) - 6 seats. Other parties and coalitions that participated in the elections received less than one percent of the votes.

In the first election district, VMRO-DPMNE’s coalition won 76,192 votes and would have 10 MPs, SDSM’s “Coalition for European Future” garnered 25,730 votes, resulting in 3 MPs. “Worth It” coalition (21,604 votes), DUI’s European Front of DUI (20,560 votes), and Levica (19,596 votes) each have 2 MPs, while ZNAM Movement (11,211 votes) won 1 seat in Parliament.

In the second election district, VMRO-DPMNE’s coalition "Your Macedonia" would secure 8 seats with 66,422 votes. DUI’s “European Front” would earn four seats with 30,626 votes, while “Worth It” coalition won 25,820 votes and 3 MPs. SDSM’s coalition with 18,631 votes, will also have 2 MPs, along with ZNAM Movement (16,229 votes), while Levica (10,673 votes) one seat.

In the third election district, VMRO-DPMNE’s coalition "Your Macedonia", with 96,546 votes, would secure 14 seats. SDSM’s “Coalition for European Future,” with 33,605 votes, would earn 4 seats, while Levica (13,404) and ZNAM Movement (9,426) would each have one MP.

In the fourth election district, VMRO-DPMNE's coalition “Your Macedonia” would win 13 MPs, SDSM’s “Coalition for European Future” with 41,962 votes, would have 5 seats, while Levica (12,427) and ZNAM Movement (8,405) would each have one MP.

In the fifth election district, VMRO-DPMNE’s coalition "Your Macedonia" with 73,916 votes, would have 10 seats, while DUI’s “European Front” with 27,013 votes, would secure 4 seats. SDSM’s “Coalition for European Future” with 26,904 votes, would earn 3 seats, while “Worth It” coalition (11,067), Levica (9,926), and ZNAM Movement (8,757) would each have one MP.

In the sixth election district, DUI’s European Front with 53,817 votes, would secure 9 seats, “Worth It” coalition with 47,687 votes, would have 7 MPs, VMO-DPMNE’s coalition "Your Macedonia" with 21,639 votes, would earn 3 seats, while SDSM’s “Coalition for European Future” with 6,418 votes, would have one MP.
