Nikoloski: New flights from Ohrid to Bratislava, Milan to boost tourism, economy

Skopje, 17 March 2026 (MIA) — As of March 17, travelers can fly directly from Ohrid’s St. Paul the Apostle Airport to Bratislava, with a new flight to Milan launching March 29, according to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski.
In a Facebook post, Nikoloski said the new flights were expected to bring in new tourists to Ohrid and provide opportunities for economic growth.
"The development of air traffic is a top priority for the government," Nikoloski said, noting that specific policies have led to a significant expansion of the country's destination network.
"We remain committed to advancing air traffic in order to develop and connect Macedonia with the major hubs," he added. mr/
