Skopje, 6 December 2024 (MIA) - Eleven children have been admitted to the Skopje City Hospital after receiving injuries doing a TikTok challenge. Two children have suffered broken arms in the process, hospital director Nebojsha Nastov told MIA.
"Eleven children aged 10-16 were admitted yesterday and it is possible there are more," said Nastov.
He added that the challenge involves the child extending his/her arms as Superman and then being thrown in the air by others.
Nastov urged against doing these things in the future, since they might lead to more serious injuries.
"Fortunately, only two have their arms broken, whereas the others suffered bruises. However, if this continues and a child falls on its head, the consequences could be severe," noted Nastov.
