Taiwan’s Yageo to invest in North Macedonia

Taipei, 18 April 2023 (MIA) - Director of the Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones, Jovan Despotovski, will sign an agreement on Tuesday in Taipei with Yageo for a new investment in the Republic of North Macedonia.
As MIA’s correspondent reported from Taipei, it is the largest greenfield investment since the country’s independence.
The agreement signing ceremony will take place at the company's headquarters. Director Despotovski and a representative of the company will first deliver welcoming speeches, while Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski is also expected to address the signing ceremony via video link.
The delegation led by Despotovski will have the opportunity to visit the Yageo factory in Kaohsiung on Wednesday.
