Skopje, 22 November 2024 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi extended congratulations on Albanian Alphabet Day, noting that on November 22 "we recall the historical moment that marks the conclusion of the Bitola Congress embodying the identity of the Albanian people." 

"As Speaker in the Parliament of North Macedonia, where Albanians are a state-forming people, I value this holiday and the Albanian language as a cornerstone of society and ethnic diversity, and I am committed to ensuring equal treatment and respect at every level of institutional and social life.
