Skopje, 22 November 2024 (MIA) - Tax revenues are stable and collection is higher by 18 percent compared to the same period in 2023, said Public Revenue Office (PRO) director Elena Petrova on Friday.

"About Mden 211 billion (EUR 3.4 billion) have been collected by way of taxes and contributions until now, and the collection plan is realized at 98 percent," Petrova told reporters.

She added that the collection plan would be fulfilled considering there are a few work days left in the month, along with the VAT collection.

"Compared to the same period last year, the tax collection is higher by 18 percent. All of this points to the fact that the tax revenues are stable," noted Petrova.
