Skopje, 17 September 2022 (MIA) - New acting president of the Alliance for the Albanians Arben Taravari after party’s Central Assembly stated Saturday that extraordinary congress of the party is scheduled for December 17. “Today we held the second Central Assembly of the Alliance for Albanians, at which Zijadin Sela's irrevocable resignation was accepted. Most of the congress members have given me their support in the Central Assembly. We decided to hold an extraordinary party congress on December 17,” Taravari said. He hopes that the Alliance for the Albanians will continue to be a hope for most Albanians in the country, to bring the changes in the Albanian bloc. Asked whether he will be party leader candidate, Taravari said that he has not yet made a final decision, adding that for the time being he will be only an acting president. He also added that all interested members of the party can submit nominations two weeks before the extraordinary congress.
