Skopje, 24 April 2024 (MIA) - The electoral process was generally fair and democratic, including series of minor violations, primarily by the ruling parties, VMRO-DPMNE vice-president Timcho Mucunski said on Wednesday.

Mucunski said observers recorded several irregularities.

"There was pressure on voters in Saraj municipality, an improvised HQ was set up near a school in Gostivar, there were cases of family and collective voting, and these persons were cautioned by the electoral boards and the accredited observers," said Mucunski.

In addition, the fingerprint devices were not operational in several polling stations in Kumanovo.

Mucunski said all irregularities would be reported to competent institutions.

"It is in our interest and in the interest of Macedonia to have a clean electoral process, which as we see it, should end with a win for the country and a vision for reforms and justice," noted Mucunski.
