Struga, 25 May 2024 (MIA) — Struga Poetry Evenings organizers unveiled a bust of one of the festival's laureates, the Swedish poet Tomas Tranströmer, and read his poems in Macedonian and in Swedish, the SPE said in a press release.
The bust by the sculptor Sokol Cfarku was unveiled on Friday at the Miladinov Brothers Memorial House. It was commissioned by the SPE with funding from members of the Macedonian diaspora in Sweden and by Swedish philantropists, the release says.
