Skopje, 25 March 2026 (MIA) — Jeunesses Musicales Macedonia will host a concert featuring young musicians at the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle as part of its "Free Wednesday" series.
The concert will feature 15 young musicians from Skopje, Shtip, Bitola and Strumica, along with students currently studying in the US and Germany, performing on piano, violin, cello, flute, clarinet, horn and vocals.
They will perform works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Erik Satie and Franz Liszt.
Launched in 2020, "Free Wednesday" provides a platform for music students — ranging from elementary school to the university level — to gain professional stage experience.
According to organizers, the concert series aims to bridge different levels of music education and provide young artists with the visibility and motivation needed for their professional development.
The "Free Wednesday" concerts are part of JMM's "Young Music Album" program, supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. mr/
