Skopje, 18 August 2023 (MIA) – The first solo exhibition of sculptor Ozbek Ayvaz titled “Darkness” is set to open on August 23 at the Mobile/Montage gallery in the Francophonie Park in Skopje. Sculptures made from recycled metal will be displayed at the exhibition.
“Amidst the darkness which is spreading, a single light emerges as a symbol of hope. Its soft glow penetrates the darkness, revealing the path ahead of us, giving us a feeling of consolation,” said the sculptor’s press release.
The exhibition is being held with financial support from the Ministry of Culture and logistical support from the Municipality of Centar and the Contemporary Art Center in Skopje.
