Skopje, 31 August 2023 (MIA) - Risima Risimkin’s “Lady Macbeth” was performed at the Camploy theatre, Verona, on August 29, by the Skopje Dance Theater as part of the Verona Shakespeare Fringe Festival programme.

The characters were played by Anastasija Danchevska as Lady Macbeth, Dejan Bitrovski as Macbeth, Boban Ruseski as Lady Macbeth’s alter ego, Sara Cvetkovska as Macbeth’s alter ego, as well as dancers from the Skopje Dance Theater including Viktorija Koceva, Stefanie Schaarschmidt, Klara Hristovska and Joana Blagadusha, and guest performances by Goce Delchev University, North Macedonia, through the project “UGD – Stepping into the world”.

The company received offers for future collaborations, as well as a possible future collaboration between the Goce Delchev University and the University in Verona.
