Public performance ‘Lost Modernist Utopias?’ to take place in Skopje
Skopje, 4 December 2021 (MIA) – A public performance ‘Lost Modernist Utopias?’ by Berlin’s KUNSTrePUBLIK collective and students from the Faculty of Drama Arts, the Faculty of Architecture and the Fine Arts Academy will take place in Skopje on Saturday noon, near the building of former Local Council (Mesna Zaednica) in Taftalidzhe.
The performance is a result of a four-day interdisciplinary workshop "Lost Modernist Utopias?" (30.11-4.12.2021) held under the mentorship of Miodrag Kuč (KUNSTrePUBLIK / ZK/U Center for Art and Urbanistics) and Filip Jovanovski (FR~U / AKTO - Skopje) in cooperation with the Faculty of Drama Arts and the Faculty of Architecture in Skopje.
The event is produced by the organization Faculty of things that can’t be learned – FR~U with support of the Goethe-Institut Skopje as part of the 16th edition of the AKTO Festival for Contemporary Arts – “Modern (non)democracies”, an interdisciplinary platform for education and production of contemporary art.
