Skopje, 13 June 2024 (MIA) - Ahead of Thursday's Summit of heads of state and government of the participants in the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP), President Siljanovska Davkova met with Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Chairman Denis Bećirović.

Interlocutors exchanged views on the overall bilateral relations, current developments and the European perspective of the two countries, as well as security and political aspects in the region, the President's Office said in a press release. 

Siljanovska Davkova and Bećirović reaffirmed commitment to full integration in the European Union, expressing readiness for exchange of experience, mutual assistance and support in the reform processes. 

"Participants in the meeting stressed the importance of further promoting international cooperation and cooperation in regional initiatives, with the aim of intensifying European integration and dealing with the challenges at regional level. Interlocutors reaffirmed mutual commitment to further intensifying cooperation in all areas of common interest, highlighting the need to improve the infrastructural connection," reads the press release.
