Skopje, 1 July 2024 (MIA) - In the coming period, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will focus on combating organized crime and corruption, which is a priority and one of the main pillars of the government’s program, Minister Panche Toskovski highlighted during Monday’s meeting with US Ambassador Angela Aggeler.

He thanked the Government of the United States for its ongoing support to the country, particularly to the Ministry of Internal Affairs in enhancing capacities and all processes through police projects, with an emphasis on staff training and equipment acquisition.

Ambassador Aggeler thanked Minister Toshkovski for the continuous excellent cooperation between the two countries in various spheres of social life, conveying the commitment of the US Embassy and the Government of the United States for continued support and cooperation in the future.
