Skopje, 2 April 2026 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski will attend Thursday the cornerstone laying ceremony for a 400 kV transmission line from Transmission Substation (TS) “Bitola 2” to the Kjafasan border crossing on the Macedonian-Albanian border.

According to the government press service, Mickoski will deliver a speech at the event.

The event will also include addresses by other senior government officials, as well as international partners and project supporters, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Union.

AD MEPSO said the infrastructure project is especially important for strengthening energy stability and enhancing regional connectivity.
