Skopje, 6 November 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski has congratulated Donald Trump on his win in the United States presidential elections.

"This victory reaffirms the deep faith of the American people in the principles of freedom and democracy. We eagerly expect to further deepen our firm partnership and cooperation, especially in the fields of security, economic development and democratic reforms," PM Mickoski says in a Facebook post.

He adds that Macedonia remains committed to building even stronger ties with the U.S. as its strategic ally and friend, thus strengthening the stability and progress of the entire region.

"Congratulations and best wishes to President Trump and the American people," reads the post.
