Skopje, 17 January 2024 (MIA) — The newly formed National Jazz Orchestra will hold its inaugural concert on Jan. 23 at the National Opera and Ballet under the title "Jazz Nova."

According to the National Jazz Orchestra in a press release, the concert will present big band works by prominent Macedonian jazz composers.

The new national orchestra's 2024-25 concert season will continue with performances featuring domestic, regional and world jazz musicians as part of "a carefully selected repertoire that follows current jazz music trends," the release says. mr/
