Macedonian pianist Trpcheski resumes tour with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
Skopje, 9 October 2022 (MIA) - London's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra accompanied by Macedonian pianist Simon Trpcheski and the orchestra's conductor and music director Vasiliy Petrenko as part of its tour will perform Sunday in the Polish city of Wroclaw before heading to Kaunas, Lithuania on October 12. The Macedonian pianist will give concerts by the end of October in Romania, Ireland and the United States.
Simon Trpcheski, called one of the most sought pianist by the Croatian press, has performed as a soloist on the tour of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, including on Saturday on the main stage in Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb.
Trpchevski is performing for the first time with the one of the world's renowned orchestras, which marked it 75th anniversary last year.
Trpcheski at the tour, which kicked off on October 2 at the Royal Festival Hall in London, performs a concert for piano and orchestra in A-minor opus 16 by Edvard Grieg. The British press calls the Trpcheski - Petrenko duo "a dream team."
