Skopje, 30 March 2023 (MIA) — Robert Jankuloski and Monika Moteska's multimedia project "Landscape Experience" first shown in 2022 at North Macedonia's pavilion at the 59th Venice Biennale will open at the National Gallery's Chifte Hammam.

According to organizers, Minister of Culture Bisera Kostadinovska Stojchevska and National Gallery director Dita Starova Qerimi will open the exhibit.

"Landscape Experience" explores the causes and absurdities of human existence, organizers say. 

They add that the project is about "the beautiful and the ugly, the crisis of the spirit, but also the dominance of capitalist and colonial policies, ideologies and technologies disrupting the balance of humankind, living beings and the natural environment."

The project was curated by Ana Frangovska and Sanja Kojic Mladenov. It will be on display until April 30. mr/
