Skopje, 26 January 2024 (MIA) — A fashion exhibition of Picasso- and Cubism-inspired pieces by textile design undergraduates at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy will open at the French Insitute at 6 pm.

Titled "Nosime UMETNOST/llevamos ARTE/nous portons l'ART," the show pays tribute to one of the greatest painters of the twentieth century, organizers said in a press release.

It features designs by students under the mentorship of Lidija Georgieva, who initiated the project with the support of the Embassy of Spain.

Some of the pieces have been presented at a fashion show previously organized by the state university's Institute of Clothing Design and Engineering of Clothes at the Museum of the City of Skopje, organizers note.
