Valandovo, 15 January 2024 (MIA) — Folk Fest Valandovo organizers are running a international contest seeking submissions for the 37th festival of new Macedonian folk songs.

The songwriting contest is open to local and foreign songwriters, MIA's Strumica correspondent reports.

Entries must be written in the spirit of Macedonian folk music, with Macedonian lyrics, organizers said.
