Deputy PM Marichikj in visit to Slovenia

Skopje, 25 May 2023 (MIA) – Deputy Prime Minister in charge of European affairs, Bojan Marichikj, is on a one-day working visit to Ljubljana on Thursday, where he will hold bilateral meetings with the State Secretary for European affairs, international law and the protection of interests at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, Marko Štucin, the State Secretary for international affairs at the Slovenian Government, Vojko Volk, and with the former EU Ambassador to North Macedonia, Samuel Žbogar.

 

As part of his working visit to Ljubljana, at the Macedonian Embassy, Marichikj will meet with students from the Macedonian Student Organization in Slovenia and Macedonians living in Ljubljana.

 

The Deputy PM will attend the first Forum for the European Balkan, 20 years after the EU Summit in Thessaloniki, where he will address a roundtable discussion on the topic “The EU’s current approach to the Balkan countries”.
