Skopje, 12 September 2023 (MIA) — Skopje's Miladinov Brothers City Library will host a book launch for "Literary Binoculars" (Institute of Macedonian Literature, 2022) by Sonja Stojmenska Elzeser, winner of the Macedonian Writers Association's annual Dimitar Mitrev Award for best book of literary criticism.

Anasatastija Gjurchinova will talk about the book, which is a collection of 22 essays on contemporary Macedonian literature and current Macedonian culture topics.

The book launch is part of the City of Skopje's cultural programming as a shortlisted candidate for the 2028 European Capital of Culture, organizers say. mr/
