Charity performances of 'Siljan the Stork Dancing' and 'All Birds' on April 3
- The Macedonian National Theater will mark its 79th anniversary, April 3, by staging Dejan Dukovski's "Siljan the Stork Dancing" at noon and Wajdi Mouawad's "All Birds" at 8 pm, with all proceeds going to charity.
Skopje, 28 February 2024 (MIA) — The Macedonian National Theater will mark its 79th anniversary on April 3 by staging Dejan Dukovski's "Siljan the Stork Dancing" at noon and Wajdi Mouawad's "All Birds" at 8 pm, with proceeds going to charity.
According to MNT in a press release, the ticket proceeds will help cover some of the medical expenses for the treatment of Leonid Indov (18), who has been paralyzed and requiring mechanical ventilation since last summer when he sustained a spinal cord injury during his first vacation with friends.
Dukovski's "Siljan the Stork Dancing" was directed by Srgjan Janikjievikj. The set and costumes were designed by Ilina Angelovska. The cast consists of Aleksandar Mihajlovski, Nino Levi, Marija Novak, Magdalena Rizova Chernih, Ivica Dimitrijevikj, Nina Dean, Aleksandar Gjorgjieski, Visar Vishka, Borche Nachev, Kire Gjorevski, Stefan Spasov, Ana Stojanovska, Natalija Teodosieva, Tina Trpkoska, and Stefan Spasov.
Lebanese-Canadian playright Wajdi Mouawad's "All Birds" was directed by Slobodan Unkovski. The cast consists of Nikola Ristanovski, Zvezdana Angelovska, Nikolina Kujacha, Sashka Dimitrovska, Dragana Kostadinovska, Petre Arsovski, Emil Ruben, Sara Klimoska, Damjan Cvetanovski and Tina Trpkoska.
