Skopje, 23 March 2023 (MIA) - The analysis at the Ministry of Economy will show the prices of next products to be capped, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski said Thursday. 

"Analyses conducted at the Ministry of Economy will show which product prices will be capped. If there is a product that meets the conditions, then normally the Government will make a decision, if there is not, the Government will not make a decision," said Kovachevski. 

Part of a reporter's question to Kovachevski contained a statement that the leader of North Korea has also toured stores to control prices, to which the Prime Minister reacted saying that the question was not appropriate and that if the reporter was in North Korea, he would not be able to even ask a question. 

The price of white and semi-white bread has been capped since February 28. The price of some pasta and dairy products has been capped since March 16, and the price of rice and eggs has been capped since yesterday. The Agriculture Ministry has already drafted an analysis for the price of fruits and vegetables, and the decision will be taken by the Ministry of Economy in accordance with the trade law.
