FM Mucunski holds farewell meeting with Polish Ambassador Grzelczyk

Skopje, 4 July 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski held a farewell meeting Thursday with outgoing Polish Ambassador Krzysztof Grzelczyk.

Minister Mucunski expressed his gratitude for the overall engagement and active contribution in the direction of strengthening relations between the two countries. He also highlighted the country's importance in developing and nurturing the overall relations and cooperation with Poland, which are based on friendship and shared values, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.

The Minister also thanked Poland's principled and strong support over our EU integration process, both on a bilateral level and through the Visegrád Group. He also stressed the government's commitment to continuing on the European path by implementing the active reform agenda both at home, and acting responsibly at the international level.

"As NATO allies, interlocutors stressed the excellent cooperation regarding all key issues, and preparedness for further coordination and cooperation during the upcoming NATO Summit in Washington," the press release reads.

Mucunski briefed the Ambassador on the Government's priorities, with special focus on strengthening economic cooperation and attracting new Polish investments. ssh/sk/
