Skopje, 26 December 2023 (MIA) - Portuguese short film Ana Morpose by Joao Rodrigues won the Golden Brick at the 14th edition of international animated film festival "Animax Skopje Fest."

Croatian director Lea Vidakovic won the second award with her animated film Family Portrait, while Czech director Jitka Nemikinsová with Light won the Bronze Tula award.

A special award was given to films Soldiers by Macedonian director Roze Simonovska, and 27 directed by Flóra Anna Buda from Hungary.

The three member jury, made up of Saša Stanišić, Eva Kamchevska and Iliana Petrushevska, picked the winners for the best animated film.

Animax Skopje Fest is organized by Auripigment Production Company and the Cinematique in Skopje.
