5th Mala Reka summer school dedicated to Dicho Zograf begins

Skopje, 2 September 2024 (MIA) — The 5th Mala Reka summer school "In the Footsteps of Dicho Zograf" opens Monday in his native Tresonche.
Art history classes will be held at the local Ss. Peter and Paul church as well as at the Bigorski Monastery, organizers said.
This year's classes will be focused on the art and architecture of the Mijak region.
In addition, organizers said, Tresonche's Dicho Zograf Cultural Center is reopening for visitors after initial reconstruction works have completed. The center is expected to be fully reconstructed by year-end.
The cultural center dedicated to the best known 19th-century Macedonian iconographer is located at the site of the former Dimitar Ormanski Elementary.
The 5th Mala Reka summer school is organized by Brzovec association and the Municipality of Mavrovo–Rostushe with the support of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts' Cvetan Grozdanov Institute. mr/
