Skopje, 1 July 2022 (MIA) – The 15th "Macedonian Cultural Summer" Festival begins Friday with a concert of the "St. Zlata Meglenska" choir in Pustec. The festival is organized by the Association of Macedonians in origin from Albania “Sonce” – Skopje, and the actor Edmond Sotir. The festival will be held until July 5, when the play “Orestes” will premiere, co-produced by the “Sonce” association and the “Jordan Hadzhi Konstantinov - Dzinot” theatre from Veles. At the closing of the festival, the best actor and actress awards will be handed out. The plays will begin at 8pm and will be held at the “Goce Delchev” square in Pustec. This year’s “Macedonian Cultural Summer” festival is supported by the Culture Ministries of North Macedonia and Albania, the United Macedonian Diaspora, “Kromberg and Schubert” – Bitola, the City of Skopje, the Veles Municipality, the Pustec Municipality, “Kozhuvchanka”, the Veles theatre and the Theatre of Comedy – Skopje. ad/ba/
