‘High in no man's land’ solo exhibition by Sasho Blazheski opens in Chifte Hammam
Skopje, October 25, 2022 (MIA) - Sasho Blazheski's solo exhibition entitled ‘High in no man's land’ will open on Tuesday at the National Gallery’s Chifte Hammam.
The paintings from the cycle titled ‘High in no man's land" by Sasho Blazheski, made in a combined technique - oil, acrylic and collage on canvas and oil on nylon, although somewhat more or less correlated with the various definitions of the term, still specifically refer to today's "new" reality on the state of the individual in a world that is nobody's and everybody's.
The time period in which the author starts this cycle coincides with the reign of the corona crisis in the world, the state of society at the global level during a pandemic and social isolation, the influence of countless information on the mental state of a person and vice versa, in the direction of tendentious destruction of individuality.
Sasho Blazheski has held fourteen solo exhibitions in Macedonia and abroad, and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Germany, Romania, Sweden, Japan, the United States, Canada, Italy, Bulgaria. Some of his works are part of private collections in Norway, South Africa and Romania.
His interest in art is focused on graphics and painting, photography, music and curation.
The exhibition, which will present 36 works from this last cycle, will run through November 10, 2022. It is supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Ohrid. dk/nn/
