Zaev: Go out and vote on Sunday, confirm local and national progress
Skopje, 29 October 2021 (MIA) – The second round of the local elections is upon us and its outcome will define the course municipalities will take in the future. We make a decision on Sunday whether to move forward on the path of progress or go back in the dark past of insecurity and uncertainty, says Prime Minister and SDSM leader Zoran Zaev in the final pre-election address. “In this campaign between the two rounds we clearly saw what the two concepts represent. Ours is one of investments in local projects, higher salaries and pensions, care for all. The one of VMRO-DPMNE, now officially supported by Levica, favors divisions, hatred, interethnic tensions and robbing taxpayers’ money. You have us, the united progressive and democratic forces, prepared to lead forward, versus the people of the old regime who want to take the country and the municipalities back,” says Zaev in the video-message. That is why, he added, we need unification. “Each individual must contribute in the decision to move forward with developed municipalities, a stable country, one society for all. On Sunday, make the best decision for you, your family, your municipality, your country. Confirm the local and national progress. Go out and vote for the SDSM-led coalition,” underlines Zaev.
