Prilep, 19 March 2026 (MIA) - Bilateral relations between China and Macedonia have been developing in a stable and successful way. Both sides foster mutual respect and respect each other's interests, said Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Jiang Xiaoyan, on Thursday.

Ambassador Jiang told reporters in Prilep that China invests in cooperation and communication in various fields, being Macedonia's third-largest trading partner.

"We would like to see more communication and cooperation in the future, we want to see more Macedonian friends visiting China. Recently, the National People's Congress adopted its new five-year plan, which opens wide the door for the world. Bilateral trade has also seen success and China is currently Macedonia's third-largest trading partner and the top exporter in the European Union," said Jiang.
