Skopje, 11 May 2024 (MIA) - A meeting between VMRO-DPMNE and the “Worth It” coalition was held Saturday, attended by VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski and the leaders of the parties that make up the “Worth It” coalition – Arben Taravari, Izet Mexhiti, Bilall Kasami and Afrim Gashi.
In a press release VMRO-DPMNE said the parties agreed on the basic principles for cooperation in the future government, which, they said, “will be based on three postulates: Euro-integrations, accelerated economic development, and fight against crime and corruption and rule of law”.
“It was concluded that both parties will establish working groups that will continue the talks until their finalization,” VMRO-DPMNE said in the press release.
Previously, the “Worth It” coalition said they believe the initial meeting and talks moved in a positive direction.
