Negotino, 9 April 2024 (MIA) - Levica is a party of the people, for the people. I know all problems of my people. We are committed to stopping the country from being a colony, a hostage of local oligarchs who keep everyone hostage. Let's finally start to breathe freely, let's take destiny in our hands, said presidential candidate Biljana Vankovska in Negotino on Tuesday.

Vankovska said Macedonians already feel as second-rank citizens in their own country.

"The solutions in my programme are quite direct and unquestionable. We will terminate the three agreements that weigh us down. My message is that the European Union is a fairytale. It is already changing. It is already militarized. Unfortunately, it is investing its money in war. We finally have to bring back our dignity," said Vankovska.

List principal in the fourth election district, Sashko Janchev, said Macedonia is at a critical point when its destiny is being resolved, adding that the long-standing sale of the country is now entering the final stage.

"This is maybe the last chance for the people to save their country. This requires electing a president who will put the national interest first, but also a party that will determine the future government and have the interests of the Macedonian people in its focus. Professor Vankovska and Levica are such options at these elections," said Janchev.
