Vilnius, 11 July 2023 (dpa/MIA) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused NATO allies of being "absurd" for the uncertainty surrounding his country's relationship with the alliance as a summit gets under way in Vilnius.
"It seems there is no readiness neither to invite Ukraine to NATO nor to make it a member of the alliance," Zelensky tweeted.
"This means that a window of opportunity is being left to bargain Ukraine's membership in NATO in negotiations with Russia. And for Russia, this means motivation to continue its terror," he said.
"Uncertainty is weakness," Zelensky said, announcing his intention to press allies over the issue.
