Skopje, 9 January 2024 (MIA) – Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski and President Stevo Pendarovski attended on Tuesday the traditional Christmas lunch hosted by the Macedonian Orthodox Church head, HH Stefan the Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia, on the occasion of the Christmas holidays and his name day – the feast day of the Holy Protomartyr Stephen, the Archdeacon.

"At the traditional Christmas lunch, top state officials shared messages with the Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia, HH Stefan, and the members of the Holy Synod of the Macedonian Orthodox Church - Ohrid Archbishopric, emphasizing unity and cohesion in the name of prosperity and a brighter future," the government said in a press release.

The Christmas lunch traditionally takes place at the residence of HH Stefan, the Archbishop.
