Skopje, 9 August 2023 (MIA) - The Negotino police detained late Tuesday a 20-year-old Studenichani villager under the suspicion of migrant smuggling.

Police officers found ten migrants from Syria near a vehicle that slid off the road at the Demir Kapija-Negotino motorway section. The driver was later found and detained, the Ministry of Interior said in a press release.

The migrants have been transferred to the reception-transit center in Gevgelija.
